Dr Luke Moffett, Dr Cheryl Lawther, Prof Clara Sandoval, and Dr Peter Dixon presented their insights on reparations and alternative sentencing during a a study visit with the Special Jurisdiction for Peace in Bogota, Colombia on the 11th of September.

The Special Jurisdiction for Peace is a new court system established by the Peace Accord with the FARC that specialises in transitional justice for crimes committed during the armed conflict. It focuses on the most serious crimes committed by the FARC. Members of the security forces and third parties may appear before it voluntarily.
