LSA Panel – Confronting the Past: Acknowledgement, Apology and Reparation

On the 8th June 2018 members of the project (Moffett, Rudling, McEvoy, Gallen and Gilmore) spoke on a panel ‘Confronting the Past: Acknowledgement, Apology and Reparation’ as part of the Law and Society Association conference in Toronto, Canada.

The team presented some of their preliminary findings from the fieldwork and thinking around redress for institutional abuse, apologies, conflict-related sexual violence and non-state armed groups.
